[Samba] last job queued quirk - understanding at last!

I solved my problem with the help of someone
on the samba-l.

If I put :done_jobs=0 in the .common section
of my /etc/printcap, the last job printed
is removed from the queue, and my windows
clients no longer show it as "Paused".

Changing the done_jobs entry in lpd.conf
didn't seem to have any effect.

So: If I want to leave the done_jobs at the
default of 1, how do I hide the files in the
queue dir from Samba once they've been printed?

Why does Samba show them as Paused?

Jim
