2.2.5 is almost out. In fact, Jerry Carter just released 2.2.5pre1 for 
testing purpose. And yes, there are some problems with printing on 2.2.4, 
which have been adressed in a patch you can find here:

ftp://samba.org/pub/jerry/samba-2.2.4-patches

along with some other 2.2.4-specific patches.
