I'm sometimes getting problems with W2k clients with authentification. Debug
level 1 log looks like:
[2002/06/04 07:25:49, 1] smbd/service.c:make_connection(615)
  si28958 ( connect to service cad-k3 as user mra2si (uid=3922,
gid=3036) (pid 28517)
[2002/06/04 07:26:59, 1] smbd/service.c:close_cnum(655)
  si28958 ( closed connection to service cad-k3
[2002/06/04 07:31:09, 0] lib/util_sock.c:write_socket_data(500)
  write_socket_data: write failure. Error = Bad file number
[2002/06/04 07:52:21, 1] smbd/password.c:authorise_login(737)
  authorise_login: refusing user with no session setup

Samba version 2.2.4 release, Samba Server is a NFS/SMB gateway on a Sun
Netra T1 AC200, Solaris 8, heavyli loaded, at the moment 348 smbd processes
Samba was compiled with egcs-2.91.66 with --with-acl-support --with-winbind
--prefix=/net/samba/fs1/samba --with-privatedir=/net/samba/fs1/samba/private
winbind isn't used, "security = server" where server is a W2k domain

Anybody had similar problems? Possible solution?

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Kind regards / Saludos cordiales
