[Samba] no such file .smbmnt

I'm trying to mount a Windows 2000 share on RedHat Linux. 
Smbclient works fine but
 
Mount -t smbfs //mw_ltp_2000/dev /home/mwood/dev
Execvp of smbmnt failed. no such file or directory.smbmnt failed 1
 
Samba 2.2.5
RedHat Linux 7.2
 
Any suggestions would be helpful
