If anyone is interested, i just finished implementing supporting
for exporting printer & printer driver information stored
in the various tdb's via the registry RPC routines.
This code has been checked into HEAD already. I'm not planning
on including it in any 2.2 bug fix releases, but thought some
people might be curious to try it out. My main intent for
implementing this support was to aid in debugging (comparing
Windows registry settings to information stored in Samba's tdb's).

The patch files for 2.2.5 can be obtained from

The file you want is registry-export-2.2.5.patch.gz

Make a backup of you working installation first :-)

Apply patch, make clean, make install, stir, restart,
and then attach to the Samba box using either regedit.exe or
regedt32.exe. Only reading information is supported at this
time. No sets.

cheers, jerry
