So is head stable enough for production? And will there be a new alpha
sometime soon?

We will probably be able to get by with an LDAP BDC (which should of
course have the same SID as the DC, so it shouldn't be an issue), but a
number of features in HEAD would be useful ...

I have some RPMs of 3alpha17 somewhere that I made ... maybe I should
make some up to run parallel with 2.2, so at least I can use
smbgroupedit (or whichever tool the functionality is in).
