Hello,
got the same Problem here with ACL and Win2k SP2 / samba 2.2.5 PDC.
You want more information?
Well, we still got these ugly Access-Problems after setting
"nt acl support = no"

here is the relevant part of smb.conf:

	logon script = %U.bat
	logon path = \\%L\profiles\%U
	logon drive = H:
	logon home = \\%L\homes
	domain logons = yes
	os level = 128
	preferred master = yes
	domain master = yes
	local master = yes
	time server = yes
	wins support = yes

[profiles]
	comment = Network Profile Service
	path = /home/profiles/
	read only = No
	create mask = 0600
	directory mask = 0700
	browseable = No
	nt acl support = No
