Thank you for the info but I have fixed it I just installed
sharity-light real nice replacement for smbfs

Ask on a FreeBSD list. The FreeBSD CIFS/SMB client is not associated
with Samba (as opposed to the Linux smbfs which uses a Samba based mount
helper).
