[Samba] How to find out default values

Hi,

I'm writing on a SAMBA configuration tool for KDE .
I have the following problem :
There exists a default value for every parameter in the smb.conf file.
Most of them are predefined, but there are parameters which 
gets there default value at compile time.
Is there any possibilty to find out these default values ?
