[Samba] smbclient can't find this new XP

I didn't find anything with the -R option:
pahto% /usr/local/samba/bin/smbclient //paulxp/"My Documents" pw -R host

I didn't find a lmhosts file on my samba server or this XP.  Didn't find a
wins server.
Also,  I looked through this great big Windows XP Professional resource kit,
and it beats the bejebus out of me how I make sure the computer name is the
same as the netbios name in XP.

But I did find in the TCP/IP properties that the default is to obtain the
netbios setting from a DCHP server.   Since I'm using static IP addresses,
maybe I need to hit the radio button to change this to "Enable netbios over
TCP/IP".
