Samba with virtual interface

Hi to all,

is it possible to start samba  with a virtual device and
security=domain and join a nt-domain?

I would like to do this on 2 servers so i can use one as the primary
and  one as a secundary server. So when one brakes down i can start
Samba on the second one which has the same Netbios Name so all connections
keep alive.
Is it possible to do this in this way????
