MDAC/jet-corrupt database

Hi,

I am trying to use Samba with a Swedish dental journaling system called
Opus.
The problem is that the database gets corrupted and I suspect it has
something
to do with some kind of locking or some parameter that has to be added
in smb.conf.

Every client resides on Windows 2000 Professional; the program uses MDAC
and Jet to access
an Access database (opus.mdb) that resides on a samba share with no
special parameters added.

Hopefully, and most probably, someone out there knows what I’m talking
about
and has some kind of quick fix for this situation.
