Filesharing questions

Hi,

I have just got a Mandrake Linux 8.0/Samba fileserver set up on a WinNT
domain. :-)  I am able to share a directory w/ my test users that have an
account on Linux & NT.  I am using remote authentication(NT) for all the
users. For all other NT users who log in... they can "see" the directory but
are asked for a password to access the directory. 

My questions:
	- Do I need to duplicate all the users on the NT side to the Linux
fileserver?
	- If so is there a utility out there that will do this for me?
	- Where can I find some documentation on filesharing to groups or
specific users?

I am also trying to connect to the internet.  I have configured Netscape
under preferences to point to our Proxy IP but it cannot attach to any
sites.  I can ping the proxy IP, so I can get to it but not go though it.
Any Ideas?
