Samba 2.2.2 printing: uploading drivers ok, ERROR when trying to hit ok. NOT APW

Are you connected to the Samba server (a) root, or
(b) a "printer admin"?  This should be outlined
in the Printing chapter of the HOWTO.  If it's not
clear, let me know.

Probably access to the write to the various printing TDB's.
