Samba in NT domain

Arjan,

Read the documentation that is included with Samba. There is a file (I don't
know the name right now) which describes ALL you want to know (and it works
too).

I am having the same configuration over here at KPN Eindhoven. I also
installed Samba 2.2.2 on SuSE 7.3 and joined the Samba / Linux box to the
Windows domain. I am using the Winbindd daemon for user verification against
the domain controller (which is a Windows NT 4.0 Server).

Hi,

First let me introduce myself to you, my name is Arjan and I'm network
administrator of a win nt domain. Yesterday I had my first experience with
SuSe 7.3 and tryed to configure the Samba server. For your information I
want to act the Win nt server like a PDC not the samba server. I  tryed to
change the smb.conf file to the correct settings, now when I Look over the
network from a Windows 98 client using the network neighbourhood, I can see
the master Domain (Windows
NT) and a workgroup called TUX_NET.
In this workgroup I can see the Samba server.

Now my question is if it's possible to make the samba server visible in the
NT-Domain and how can I achieve that?
