Hi,

this is easy: Install a cc-compiler.
On most *nixes you should find a way to install f.ex. gcc
I use SuSE-Linux. gcc is installed by default, except you choose "minimal
system".
Again, just install gcc or another cc-compiler.

I just downloaded Samba 2.2.2 and when I run ./configure I get this error.

nfssrv{root}#./configure
creating cache ./config.cache
checking for gcc... no
checking for cc... no
configure: error: no acceptable cc found in $PATH
nfssrv{root}#

What should I do? Thanks for any help.
