can't get samba on solaris 8 box to join win2k domain

I compiled it myself.

Just the secrets file (secrets.tdb)

Yes, I noticed that qualification in the HOWTO. I'll doublecheck with the
Windows guy I've been working with on that, but I'm pretty sure that's how
he would have done it.

The PDC is Win2K, as for other DCs, I am again not someone who can answer
that question.

I really do appreciate you taking the time to try and help me out, btw. I
apologize for not having answers on hand, but this is a problem where a
lot of what I'm dealing with is in the metaphorical black
box. (It's frustrating.)
