samba printing broken

echo hello > \\kascha\lp_text works,

looks like a dump into the log file

gui printing doesnt

no dump into the log file so its not getting to samba?

moving printer to a nt box and printing via gui works.

for samba printing it there another injection test point? or do I admit
defeat?

submit a bug report?

ive upgraded from 2.0.7 to 2.2.2, recompiled 2.4.17.

used 4 or 5 different smb.conf's no joy

absolutely no where to go now

last guess is return to 2.4.9
