Hi
I have Samba 2.2.2 (I think, it's the latest) running on a Redhat 7.1 Linux
system. The server is the Internet gateway with 2 network cards.
The network:
Server:
OS: Redhat Linux 7.1
Workgroup: GARS
IP: 192.168.0.1
Name: Digital
Client PC 1:
OS: Win2k
Workgroup: GARS
IP: DHCP From Digital but usualy 192.168.0.100
Name: Compaq
Client PC 2:
OS: WinME
Workgroup: GARS
IP: DHCP from Digital but usualy 192.168.0.99
Name: Celeron
I start nmbd at startup with " /usr/local/samba/sbin/nmbd -D" and also when
it has died.
Every thing works find but nmbd die very offten, 2-3 times every day. This
is a extract from the "log.compaq", compaq is the one mostly using Samba
shares.
