Install Directories

Hi,
 
I just downloaded and installed samba-2.2.2-20011013.i386.rpm on a PC running Red Hat 7.1. I noticed that in the PDC FAQ's, most of the samba files reside in /usr/local/samba but yet I do not have a samba directory in /usr/local. I do however, have a samba directory in /etc and the start file (smb) is located iin /etc/rc.d/init.d/. Did I get the wrong Samba RPM? Anyone have any clues?
