Printing with SAMBA and a Windows 2000 Client... !??

Let me take a few moments here and elaborate.

Just to clarify, I mean "disable spoolss = yes" is not recommended
except in extreme circumstances.

Win2k should be able to use the NT4 driver.  Have you tried uploading the
NT4 version of the driver to the Samba server?

I'm assuming you've read the Printing Chapter in the
Samba-HOWTO-Collection, right?  Which part was confusing
to you?
