password sync

Have you checked that the passwd chat contains the correct syntax for YOUR
linux release?
Try using this if you have Redhat 7.x :

passwd program = /usr/bin/passwd %u
passwd chat = *password* %n\n *password* %n\n *updated*

That should work.

Any ideas?
