creating group directories? (perl to hack ldif attached)

What I've got:

 - perl (attached) to create NIS maps from ldif
   output of active directory;
 - also creates a shared dir for each group. Group
   names have space turned to _.

[Comments on/improvements of perl script are welcome.
I plan to improve the comments. If there is any
interest I'll repost it when I do that.]

I'd like to do something similar to home directories
so that people can connect to \\server\group and
get connected with access if they are in that
group. I.e.

   force group = +%S

(I think) if that is allowed.

Any advice would be welcome.

Thanks,

Bob
