[Samba] Unable to join domain

I am trying to join my samba machine to my nt domain.
What i have done is to add my machine to the nt domain
with the server manager for damains. After this I
stopped the samba deamons. and then I use 
the command:

smbpasswd -j DOMAIN -r NT_SERVER 

and i receive this error :

cli_net_auth2: Error NT_STATUS_NO_TRUST_SAM_ACCOUNT
cli_nt_setup_creds: auth2 challenge failed
modify_trust_password: 
unable to setup the PDC credentials to machine
NT_EFSA_MEDANOS. 
Error was : NT_STATUS_NO_TRUST_SAM_ACCOUNT.
2002/02/27 09:27:26 : change_trust_account_password: 
Failed to change password for domain EFSA_MEDANOS.

This is my smb.conf file

[global]
    workgroup = EFSA_MEDANOS
    local master = no
    security = EFSA_MEDANOS
    domain logons = yes
    password server = NT_EFSA_MEDANOS
    encrypt passwords = yes
    
[test]
    comment = For testing only, please.
    path = /export/samba/test
    read only = no
    guest ok = yes
    browseable = yes


So if you have some ideas of what is happen 
I'll apreciate your help.
