[Samba] win2k domain problem

We've a samba server 2.2.2 joined a win2k domain toh ave users
authenticated by the Win2k Box.
When we browse the network and select the samba server we're prompted
for username and password
Looking at the samba's log we found the error " unable to setup PDC
connection to ." 
Can anyone help with it
