Hi everyone,

I am just learning SAMBA and do have a question. I am planning on
installing SAMBA on a Older HP workstation that is running HP-UX version
10.20. A script is being several times a day on this HP machine that
ftps into a remote computer and downloads data. I want to make this
data available to the users on our our office LAN which are currently
running Windows 98.

All of the documentation says that SAMBA should be installed in
/usr/local/samba. However, I want to make sure I have enough space
available on /usr. When I run BDF, the output states the following for
/usr:

Filesystem kbytes used avail
%used Mounted on
                        600571 396876 143637
73 /usr

Should I have enough space on this drive or should I move to another
one, such as /usr1? If I change the installation directory to /usr1, do
I need to go in and change the installation function?
