[Samba] Samba Keeps Stopping on HPUX11

You would need to set the following in your smb.conf when the
log file = /usr/local/samba/var/log.%m
and then have a user try to access a share.
Then save off the /usr/local/samba/var/log.<pc netbiosname>
and take a look at what samba is doing/not doing at the time;
this might give us some clue.
As well as your smb.conf file.
Hope this helps,

Subject: [Samba] Samba Keeps Stopping on HPUX11
I have Samba 2.0.10 on an HP Box here and have had to restart it almost
daily, I say almost as I only start the smbd process when the users
report to me that they cannot access the share.
Short of setting a cron job to restart samba each day (which is really
stuipd) I don't have any answers.
Does anyone have any answers to this please.
