[Samba] Two problems, any solutions?

1] As of Samba 2.2.3a, after some prolonged use, I get "Cannot save
file." in Windows 2000.
    With 2.0.7, I've never had a problem.

2] When I click [x] reconnect at login in Windows, it doesn't work.
   a] Yes I've read why this does this.
       When it tries to connect, it isn't fully logged in all the way,
so it tries to connect as (something else).
       Does anyone know how to fix this though?
