[Samba] Canon print drivers are bad?

Good day,

Is there something wrong with Canon's printer drivers (At least the 
bjc-610/bjc-6000) that Samba's automatic printer driver installation 
routines don't like? HP print drivers work flawlessly... I noticed that 
even the older printdef creation program could not create a proper driver 
config file for these printers either without my help (parsing the .inf 
files myself).
