[Samba] win2000 error joining domain

Hey all,

I'm running FreeBSD4.4 and SAMBA2.2.3. My win98se box can connect no
problem, but my win2000 sp2 system keeps getting an error when I try and
join the domain.

-The following error occurred attempting to join the domain "PRIVATEMIKE"
-The account used is a computer account. Use your global user account or
local user account to access this server.

I found a reference to this on an old achieve of this list, but the old
solution was to comment out the passwordsync = yes part of smb.conf. I don't
have that in my .conf at all.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

ps- the domain name is PRIVATEMIKE, the computer names are (for the server)
FREEBSDSRV and (for the win2000 client) WINTEST
