[Samba] 2.2.3 problems replacing files - more information

Some more information concerning the problem
with overwriting files an a Samba 2.2.3 share described
earlier this day in:

Gene Cohler found out, that files on a Samba share can be overwritten 
from Windows 2000 SP2 clients using the command shell (cmd)
but not from the GUI. He has a server running HP-UX11 with
Samba 2.2.3. I can confirm this with Linux-Servers running
Kernel 2.4.16 and 2.2.18 with Samba 2.2.3: cmd works, gui not.

We hope this information will help to fix the problem.
