smbmnt is not in the path of the user doing the mount. Nor is it in the 
"BINDIR" which is defined at compile time.

Search for it and then either modify your path or copy/symlink smbmnt into
the current path. One example could be:

ln -s /usr/sbin/smbmnt /usr/bin/smbmnt
