[Samba] slo2.4

Hi My name is Dilip Patel and I have question as below;
I am running Sun operating system Solaris 2.4 and need to use samba to
windows, So can use samba version 2.2.7 compile on solaris-8 OS?
If not then what are my choices to on sol2.4 OS? Can you please replay?  I
really appreciate your help OR Is any technical support
available for Samba.
