Lars Mueller from SuSE has given me a reproducible test case
(apparently not that hard in this instance).  I've not confirmed 
it yet, but it does appear to be a large file bug in smbclient.  
This does not affect smbd.

We'll work on thyis some today and post a patch to the list once things 
are sorted out.
