[Samba] Problem with File Permissions on NT

I am trying to share a CVS repository on an NT server. When looking at
the directory permissions they show 'Root Root' which is not what I
want. When I try to change the permissions from linux, chown
Tim.LinuxUsers directory, I receive a Permission denied error. Of
course I am doing this as root.

THe directories had everyone full access on NT and the directories are
owned by the Administrators group.

This is a workgroup and not a domain. My samba setup has 'security =
server' and in all other respects seems to work fine.

I need to be able to change the permissions on the shared directory for
CVS to work correctly. Currently I can perform cvs operations as root,
but not as myself, similarly with the other developers.

What am I doing wrong? THanx!
