Yousef,

	SWAT stripped down your smb.conf file in order to optimize Samba. The   
smaller your smb.conf file, the better the performance you can get out of   
Samba. I understand that future versions of SWAT will most likely warn   
users of the impending changes to the smb.conf file that SWAT will make.

	Don't worry about the changes, they were made to speed up your Samba   
installation.

Hi All,

Why Swat strips all comment lines from the smb.conf? I couldn't find any   
field or tab that deals with this, but when I edited the smb.conf with   
Swat, my smb.conf became 'nude', so to speak.
