Mandrake 8.0, 8.1 and 8.2 RPMs of pre2 can be found at
http://ranger.dnsalias.com/mandrake/samba/samba-2.2.6pre2/

Sylvestre will probably have them mirrored at 
http://people.mandrakesoft.com/~staburet/samba/ in 12 hours or less.

These were built by running 'sh makerpms.sh' in the packaging/Mandrake 
directory, with no options (ie they build stock as we normally build 
samba for each release). If you want other options (like winbind or acls 
on 8.0, or ldap), you will have to build your own, see the README.mandrake

Unfortunately, I haven't made provision for prereleases, so if you test 
these, your next upgrade is going to have to use --old-package (since 
2.2.6pre2 will be seen as newer than 2.2.6 by rpm).
