[Samba] on installing the package

i am currently trying to use samba, however when i try to install it i get
the following error

Found 0 source and 1 binary packages
rpmdepCheck() failed

can you tell me what the problem might be since i tried to look for
fileutils which is a package samba requires but even that did not help
since it would not recognize that packkage when i tried to install it
