[Samba] Simple and Stupid Share...

Have you tried guest account = ftp and guest ok = yes

[global]
	security = user
	guest account = ftp

[AllFiles]
	comment = EverybodyComeIn
	path = /Whatever
	read only = yes
	guest ok = yes
Then, make sure that the permissions on your server are set properly.
