hi all,

i downloaded today morning at 09:00am (+2utc) the latest 2.2.4pre from the cvs.
and compiled it with:

./configure --prefix=/usr/local/samba --sysconfdir=/etc/samba --with-quotas
--with-msdfs --with-acl-support --with-ldapsam --with-privatedir=/etc/samba/private

with that version i try to create an pdc with information coming from ldap.
works fine so far.

the troubles i have, i cant change the right's on a directory. with nt4 sp6 i
get access denied, w2k sp2 does not even show the security tab.

i cant rename directories, i get always "access denied", even if i have the
rights! i can it even delete the directory, but not rename.

after downgrading to 2.2.3a and rejoining the machines to the domain (cause the
MACHINE.SID is now included in secrets.db?) everything works fine.

maybe this helps, please ask, if anything is unclear.

greetings
thomas
