[Samba] Netscape vs. Internet Explorer

I have used Samba as an interface between Sun Solaris and PCs using
Netscape at other places I have worked.  The Park Service uses Microsoft
Internet Explorer as its browser.  Will I be able to install SAMBA and use
IE instead of Netscape?
