My samba server/client works fine for basic browsing with accasional problems
connecting to other workgroups or computers. Windows computers can see me and
also connect to me. Unfortunately, as soon as i try to send a message to
myself I get the following.

jmak://home/jmak# smbclient -M jmak
added interface ip=146.232.176.120 bcast=146.232.179.255 nmask=255.255.252.0
message start: ERRSRV - ERRaccess (The requester does not have the necessary
access rights within the specified context for the requested function.
The context is defined by the TID or the UID.)

the reply is as follows
jmak://home/jmak# smbclient -M mindlessdemon
added interface ip=146.232.176.120 bcast=146.232.179.255 nmask=255.255.252.0
Got a positive name query response from 146.232.176.11 ( 146.232.176.11 )

Can anyone please help me. It's been troubling me for quite a long time and
