[Samba] can't join a 2000 domain --SOLVED

Tnank you to everyone who gave me hand on that one. I finally solved it.

My samba machine was not behind the College's firewall. This was making my 
server appear as an outsider and was therefore denied access to most 
services on most remote computers including the DC I was trying to connect 
with. Once I placed my server behind the firewall, I was able to join the 
domain in  cinch.
