[Samba] Performance.

Dear Folks,
 I have been running performance benchmarks with 
 SAMBA-2.0.7 and SAMBA-2.2.3. i use Bart's File reader
 and it shows that SAMBA-2.0.7 is about 20% faster
than
 SAMBA-2.2.3. I use Linux-2.4.9.

 Is not that strange?
