[Samba] samba corrupt

hi

I installed samba2.2.3a on RHLinux 7.2 one week ago.
I made the rpm file through source code of
samba2.2.3a.
and installed it.
But today  i read in samba binaries readme file that
it is corrupted. 

So I want to know whether the samba which i installed
is corrupt or not.
Is it ok if I work with this installed version or do i
have to wait for the binary release of the new
version( not corrupted ).

One more thing, if i had to wait for the new release
then when is it going to be released for RH  Linux7.2
