hello all,

im using samba (on redhat 7.1) mainly for printing (some sharing).

right now the sharing and printing is authenticating against the domain
controller.

what i want is for visitors to be able to add the printer and print without
any authentications.

this is my global and printer configs

[global]
   wins server = 192.168.1.89
   browseable = yes
   guest account = nobody
   case sensitive = yes
   preserve case = yes
   server string = butler
   workgroup = NY
   encrypt passwords = yes
   password server = imola
   security = server
   printer admin = anna
   load printers = yes
   printing = cups

......
[print$]
   comment = printers
   path = /usr/local/samba/printer
   guest ok = yes
   guest account = puser
   browseable = Yes
   read only = no

i created a "puser" account on the samba server, but
when i log in with the non domain account, i am not able to add the printer
because it does not show up in the browse window.

what am i missing?

thanx in advance,
anna
