MS Access Performance?

Hi,

We have a Network Appliance, the Celestix Aires Server.  It works great for
most purposes, but using an Access database is pitiful.

Would more ram help? It currently has 64mb.  It is running a custom version
of RH 6.2

I have tried using HDPARM to increase disk speed, but it doesn't help.

The database performance is very good when hosted on another workstation,
(running ME of all things)

Any ideas?
