Where's my network neighborhood

Hello,

I have a Samba 2.2.1a working fine here, but there's a little and
annoying problem: I can't see the samba server or any other computer
using the Network Neighborhood (Win 9x) or Network Places (Win 2k/ME).

This is my enviroment:
     -Slackware 8.0
     -Kernel 2.4.9-ac10
     -Samba 2.2.1a
     -Not using DHCP
     -My server is also my DNS server

I've already made several tests with lmhosts, hosts... without
success... I've also tested a very basic smb.conf without success too.

May anyone here "show me the light" ?! :)
