Hi Jamie,

I have a similar printer (HP Laserjet 4 Plus) and figured out the same
problem with the samba-2.2.1-release. No driver for it could be configured
for A4.

Some fixes were done in the printer code after the release of 2.2.1. Now a
cvs snapshot (06.08.2001) is running on my printer server and is doing
fine. I took the newest German drivers from HP, which are already
preconfigured for A4, and uploaded them with imprints.

So perhaps try it with samba 2.2.2 again?

cheers,
Martin
