I'm running samba-2.2.2 and using CUPS.

CUPS was the one thing that worked great with Solaris-8 (Intel) and
I've got an Epson777 color inkjet printer hooked up to the first
parallal port and printer color right off the bat.

CUPS printer.conf file is as follows.

[root at SunOS 5.8 /usr/local/samba/var]-> less /etc/cups/printers.conf
